Our Thematic Areas

Our thematic areas are designed to create lasting impact across key sectors that shape the well-being of individuals and communities. We focus on strengthening health care systems in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health to ensure effective, accessible, and sustainable services for over 125,000 people by 2025. We also champion gender equality and human rights by empowering women and girls to realize their full potential and actively participate in shaping a more just and inclusive society.
We also promote inclusive education, vocational skills, and enterprise development for children and youth, while supporting community resilience through climate change adaptation. At the same time, we continue to strengthen COVOID’s systems and policies to ensure efficient and accountable service delivery toward our 2025 goals.

Strengthen Health Care Systems

In line with the new strategic plan 2022-2025, COVOID implements programs in the 4 sectors; Livelihood programs, social protection, Health Promotion, and Climate change/disaster risk reduction

Livelihood Security

COVOID empowers communities through savings groups, vocational skills, and Bonga programs to boost income and self-reliance. We enhance food security through models like Farmer Field Schools, Commercial Villages, backyard gardening, and nutrition education.

Social Protection

We promote child protection, gender equality, GBV prevention, and inclusiveness to ensure safe and supportive environments for all, especially vulnerable groups.

Health Promotion

COVOID strengthens access to quality RMNCH, HIV and AIDS, and nutrition services through awareness, partnerships, and community engagement.
