A case in point is Muhumuza Andrew from KabukwiriRyeru Sub-county after training in motorcycle in 2016 with support from Stromme Foundation, received a toolbox and started working from Ndekye trading centre earning between 5,000 and 10,000= daily. He joined a CMMF group where he saves 10,000 weekly. He was able to acquire a loan of 100,000= and added 80,000= and bought two goats. He is able to pay school fees for his two sisters in primary school totaling to 70,000 UGX a term.
I entered into an agreement with a hardware shop owner where we buy nails and other materials we use, to deposit with the shop money for iron sheets. I have so far paid fully for 8 iron sheets. After realizing that I started making some money, my Uncle asked me to start paying and refund him money he used to secure our land. I have been able to pay 500,000= of the money. It’s this same land where I intend to construct my house. My gratefulness goes to STROMME and COVOID for the opportunity which is shaping me into an independent person.
